Formed in 1983, the Thompson Valley Ambulance Service became Thompson Valley Emergency Medical Services in 1998 under a new Health Services District agreement.
Today TVEMS responds to nearly 10,000 calls per year with its fleet of 10 ambulances, 5 stations, and 55 employees. TVEMS incorporates the most advanced treatment protocols with the latest technology, modern ambulances, computer aided dispatching, medical pre arrival instructions, and GPS mapping to provide world class service to its citizens and clients.
